Tasha Mears, RN, BSN, MHI, has over twenty years in health care experience as a Registered Nurse with a focus in information technology, quality, and revenue cycle management in post-acute healthcare settings. Mears has a Master’s in Health Informatics from Louisiana Tech University. She previously worked at Amedisys, a premier home health and hospice company, from 1998 as a Clinical Director to 2015 as the Senior Vice President of Clinical Informatics and was instrumental in the design and implementation of their point of care technology. Ms. Mears has served as the Chair of the Quality Working Group for the Alliance for Home Health Quality and Innovation. In 2009, she was appointed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) as a member of the Technical Expert Panel Project: Care Transition Measure Development; a prestigious panel formed to develop measures used to deliver quality care to Medicare beneficiaries. Ms. Mears also served on the National Quality Forum, led the CMS Home Health Pay for Performance demonstration project for Amedisys, and was active in their CMS Innovation project for Model 3 Bundles. Ms. Mears is currently the Chief Operating officer of MedCentris, responsible for operations that ensure a unified and integrated strategy of care for an at-risk population of patients suffering from both acute and chronic wounds.
Amanda Estapa ACNP-BC, CWS, FACCWS, DAPWCA, is the Vice President of Clinical Services for MedCentris, LLC. Amanda earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in 2004. She is a certified Wound Medicine Specialist™ and a Diplomat of the American Professional Wound Care Association®. Her experience includes years of trauma and surgical critical care prior to narrowing her practice to focus on Wound Medicine in 2010. She has worked throughout the continuum of care in the acute, long term, hyperbaric and outpatient wound care settings. Amanda’s passion for education on the management of complex wounds and patient advocacy has taken her to the national stage as a speaker to help bring awareness to the specialty of Wound Medicine.
David Monic is the Vice President of Business Development and Marketing for MedCentris. He has over 30 years of healthcare experience in various roles, including Business Development, Marketing, Operations, and Clinical Informatics. He has grown healthcare sales teams to scale from local, to regional, to national models. Monic provides market evaluation and strategic analysis regarding company expansion and growth. He has considerable expertise in assessing, launching, and managing CRMs for healthcare providers. His role in developing a home health physician portal and its marketing strategy, which resulted in more than 11,000 providers in 42 states adopting it, garnered Monic the 2011 Louisiana Governor’s Innovator of The Year Award. He served on various committees and boards during his 22-year employment stint with nationwide home health provider Amedisys, including the Quality and Technology Board, Medical Director Advisory Group, the American Heart Association Steering Committee, and functioned as Chairman of their Charitable Activities Committee. At MedCentris, Mr. Monic has been responsible for launching and leading the regional sales force, marketing team, acquisitions, and implementation of an enterprise CRM.
Guy Ranzino is the Vice President of Operations for MedCentris. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Ranzino is a Registered Nurse. He graduated from Charity Hospital School of Nursing in New Orleans. He has over 30 years as an experienced healthcare leader with a demonstrated history of roles in the Med-Surgical and Critical Care areas of East Jefferson General Hospital. Ranzino served over 20 years with Amedisys, a national leader in home health and hospice where he was positioned as an Area Vice President in both Operations and Business Development. His other leadership experiences include Chief Operating Officer for a Louisiana-based Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital and a Regional Clinical Administrator with MedCentris before accepting this role. Ranzino’s strengths include strong skills in Enterprise Healthcare Operations and Business Development Management, Corporate Structure Design and Team Building, Strategic Planning as well as Integrating Staff and Processes with Mergers and Acquisitions. He has served on various committees and boards throughout his extensive healthcare career and is a member of the American Nurses Association and Louisiana State Nurses Association.
Kelly is a native of the New Orleans area with over 30 years of progressive accounting and finance experience across multiple industries.
She holds a Master of Science Degree in Management from Troy University, Alabama and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from The University of New Orleans.
She began her accounting career at Sysco Food Services of New Orleans as a Staff Accountant before transitioning to healthcare with Universal Health Services, Inc. as a Senior Accountant and then on to HCA as an Accounting Manager for Lakeview Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed an extensive tenure in the hospitality industry with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, as an Assistant Director of Finance, participating in numerous front- and back-of-the-house system migrations and completing hotel renovations including post-Hurricane Katrina recovery. She further expanded her accounting knowledge by joining a New Orleans law firm that specialized in Medical Malpractice and Environmental Law before returning to the Healthcare Industry.
A native of Hammond, Louisiana, Buras graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with double Bachelor of Science degrees in Business Management and Marketing. He has 18 years of supervisory experience in healthcare, human resources, marketing, program & project management, quality & risk management, and service management.
In his current role, he manages multiple departments, teams, projects, and resources that include System Support Services, Technology Support, IT Security, Help Desk, Contracting & Credentialing, Revenue Cycle Management, Information Technology, and Human Resources.
As a volunteer, he is a devoted advocate for many non-profit organizations in Tangipahoa Parish and surrounding communities.
Jason MacMorran is a Shareholder in the Consulting Department of Postlethwaite & Netterville and leads the firm’s Forensic and Valuation Services team. Jason’s practice focuses on business valuation, transaction advisory and support services, and economic damages across a broad range of industries. In addition, Jason serves as a strategic advisor to management teams in merger and acquisition projects.
Jason has a bachelors’ degree in business administration in accounting from Millsaps College, and a masters’ degree in finance from Louisiana State University. Jason is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and brings considerable training and experience to projects through his study to obtain the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Accredited in Business Valuation credential (ABV) and Certified in Financial Forensics credential (CFF), and the National Association of Certified Valuation Analyst’s Certified Valuation Analyst credential (CVA).
Jason has actively served the accounting profession. He speaks nationally and locally on valuation and litigation topics, has served on the AICPA’s national Business Valuation Committee, has been a faculty member of the AICPA’s Expert Witness Skills Workshop, and was honored as the AICPA’s 2014 Business Valuation Volunteer of the Year. In addition to his service to the AICPA in the valuation and forensic accounting areas, Jason has been an active member of the Society of Louisiana CPAs, serving on its board of directors and as its 2019-2020 chair, and serving on its Forensic and Valuation Services Committee since 2009, chairing that committee in 2013 and 2014. In addition to his involvement in the accounting profession, Jason currently serves as the Finance Chair of a 600-bed independent hospital system.
